There are many ongoi
There are many ongoing programs in the classrooms, the school, and the District to recognize and encourage student accomplishment. Positive achievement in both academics and citizenship is expected of all students. Students are encouraged to find their strengths and use these to the best of their ability. Recognition occurs both spontaneously and formally. Recognition may include:
- Happy Grams
- Classroom awards
- Positive notes and calls home
- Announcements of positive behavior
- Benchmark Achievement Recognition
- Accelerated Reading awards
- Perfect Attendance awards
- Academic Recognition
- Brilliant Bear Club
- Student of the Day
- Citizens of the Year
- Principal's Award
Every Friday, Lime Street students are recognized for following and modeling our school rules:
- Be Respectful
- Be Responsible
- Create a Safe Environment
Three students are chosen from each classroom to receive a prize from the administrators.
On Fridays, classes with the most students wearing Lime Street colors, red and/or yellow, receive the school's Spirit Flag to display in their classroom. Twelve lucky students showing school pride are also selected and receive a special prize in the office. Don't forget to show your school pride every Friday!
