At Lime Street, students are very involved in the Accelerated Reader (AR) program.  In AR, students read books that are at their reading level, each with a certain amount of points.  The points range from 0.5 to over 40. Once they are finished reading the book, they take a test on the computer.  Depending on how well they do on the test, the student receives an amount of points. 

When a student achieves a certain amount of points, s/he gets a chain necklace and a bear tag.  To get a new bear tag, here is a list of points that a student needs to reach:
